This is a draft. It will be replaced with the final text after legal review.
Privacy Policy
The wording isn’t final yet. The full Privacy Policy will appear here before public launch.
What this page will cover
- What we collect: guest session cookies, account details (email and name when you sign in with Google), facts remembered from conversations (up to 12, excluding sensitive topics), letters, gifts, chat and sky lantern posts, and Lantern transaction history
- Voice input: microphone audio passes through our server to a transcription model and is not saved as a recording
- Say “forget it” and we erase what was remembered. Retention periods and deletion process
- Dream Alley FM: the DJ may remember things from the broadcast chat and bring them up in a later show (conversations in the shops are not used). Type “forget it” in the broadcast chat and the DJ erases what it remembered
- Service providers and international transfers (AI models, speech synthesis, cloud)
- Browser storage: only convenience settings such as your nickname, TV size and letters are stored on this device
Use of YouTube API Services
Song requests on Dream Alley FM use YouTube API Services (the YouTube IFrame player and the YouTube Data API). When a requested song plays, YouTube may collect and use information through cookies and similar technologies, as described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
- YouTube Terms of Service
- Google Privacy Policy
- You can revoke access from your Google Account security settings (security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).
Visit statistics (Google Analytics) and cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to carry a conversation you started as a guest into your account. We use Google Analytics (Google LLC) for visit statistics. It receives the pages you visit, the referrer, device type, approximate region and whether key steps such as signing up, talking in a shop or sending a gift happened, together with a cookie identifier. The text of letters, conversations, radio stories and sky lanterns, your name, your email, gift contents and the letter number in a gift link are never sent.
On your first visit the cookie notice lets you choose “Accept all” or “Essential only”. Visitors in Europe (EEA, UK, Switzerland) get no analytics cookies until they accept. With “Essential only” Google Analytics sends only cookieless, anonymous aggregate signals. Your choice is saved in this browser; clear the site data to choose again. You can also block cookies in your browser settings.
